Meet Chris Cuesta: NextGen Development Consultant

Chris Cuesta is a highly experienced Development Consultant who has been working with NextGen for almost 18 years. Prior to joining TempDev, he held various positions at NextGen. Chris’ interest in working for TempDev began when he was introduced to Laura Miller, our fierce CEO. He applied for a position when the opportunity presented itself, and he now works as a Development Consultant, handling everything related to NextGen.

Chris’ interest in healthcare was piqued by his mother's work in the ER when he was a child. He was fascinated by the excitement and the impact that healthcare professionals have on people's lives. As a Development Consultant, Chris feels that he has a greater impact on society than he would in a clinical role.

His greatest challenge was learning to count clicks, which he overcame with time and practice. His biggest achievement, he remembers, was “a multi-location big bang go-live”, which was a memorable client experience.

On a personal note, Chris resides in Eugene, Oregon, with his family, including his three children. His youngest child is involved in sports, while the older two are heavily focused on academics. Chris and his family enjoy riding e-bikes around town to unwind on weekends. He is passionate about Thai food and would love to visit Barcelona, Spain, on his dream vacation. He also loves football and rarely passes on when his favorite teams are playing: the Oregon Ducks for college football or Seahawks in the NFL.  His pet peeve is bad drivers, and he is passionate about growing his children into intelligent, compassionate citizens of the world. Chris' goal for 2023 is to continue expanding his knowledge.
